    Description

Ogliarola Lattina is the 3 or 5 litre size of our Ogliarola Barese. Cold extracted with olives coming only from our land, it is the ideal extra virgin olive oil for those who love the delicate tastes of tradition. Appreciated since ancient times for its slightly fruity taste, it is distinguished by its golden yellow colour tending to green. When tasted it is characterised by a fine and delicate taste. The bitter and the slight spicy on the palate is followed by a sweet green almond aftertaste.

Ogliarola Lattina is the ideal solution for regular consumers who want to always have a high quality product in an elegant package that takes up little space.

It is the ideal ingredient to enhance fish-based dishes and especially raw vegetables and salads that are enhanced in flavours and aromas. Thanks to the typical scents of the Ogliarola of Bari, it is able to kidnap the palate and go beyond the simple taste. Its particular scents are due to the Ogliarola Barese, a typical cultivar of Apulia. Now considered “in danger of extinction“, the olive trees are scrupulously followed by us. The plant is treated by fruit set, the initial phase of fruit development after flowering, up to the milling of its fruits in the mill. This cultivar, also known as “Paesana” or “Cima di Bitonto”, is so called because it is widespread in the central area of the province of Bari and is mainly harvested by hand.
