Perseo is an extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality thanks to the cold extraction of 100% Italian olives. Olive trees are located on land owned by the family near Giovinazzo. The entire production process is meticulously controlled by Luigi and Savino Depalo, starting from the care of the plant to harvesting. Once the olives are harvested, they are immediately taken to the mill and then pressed within a few hours.
Perseo is a typical oil of Apulia. La Coratina is a variety of typical olive trees found in particular in the area north of Bari. It is known throughout the world for its very high concentration of polyphenols, powerful natural antioxidants with positive effects on human health. Ogliarola Barese is a variety of olive trees that is widespread in the central area of the province of Bari and is mainly harvested by hand. Now considered “endangered”, these olive trees are followed by the Depalo family with extreme meticulosity.
