Coratina Lattina is the format of 3 or 5 litres of extra virgin olive oil produced only with olives of the Coratina cultivar. The olives used come only from the lands of the Depalo family. After the harvest, the fruits are brought to the mill and milled over a few hours. This allows you to maintain that typical aroma of fresh olives typical of high quality extra virgin olive oils.
Coratina Lattina is the ideal solution for regular consumers who want to always have a high quality product in an elegant package that takes up little space.
Coratina is a variety of olive trees typical of Apulia, and in particular of the north area of Bari. It is known worldwide for its very high concentration of polyphenols, powerful natural antioxidants with positive effects on human health. Thanks to this peculiarity the extra virgin olive oil that derives from it has a strong taste and a green colour with golden reflections.
Thanks to these characteristics, Coratina extra virgin olive oil is differentiated by its intense herbaceous scent and bitter and spicy taste in the final part of tasting. On the palate there are hints of artichoke and green almond while the scent of freshly mown grass immediately brings to mind the direct link between man and nature. La Coratina is able to give a unique and direct experience with the typical smells and flavours of Apulia. The intense fluidity and the bitter and spicy taste make this extra virgin olive oil ideal for enhancing dishes with an “important” flavour such as legume soups, grilled red meats, bruschetta with homemade bread.
