Perseus is the cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil born from the union of cultivar olives typical of Apulia: Coratina and Ogliarola Barese. The result is an intense fruity extra virgin oil with a unique aroma. The final aftertaste, slightly spicy and bitter, is surprising for its delicacy.<\/span><\/p>\n

This oil is perfect for those who love delicate flavours without sacrificing the flavour of freshly pressed olives. Thanks to the perfect balance between the strong flavours of Coratina and the aromatic scents of the Ogliarola of Bari, Perseo is the ideal ingredient to enhance the flavours of roasted fish, light sauces, vegetables, fresh tomato-based dishes, grilled vegetables.<\/span><\/p>\n

Perseo is an extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality thanks to the cold extraction of 100% Italian olives. Olive trees are located on land owned by the family near Giovinazzo. The entire production process is meticulously controlled by Luigi and Savino Depalo starting from the care of the plant to harvesting. Once the olives are harvested, they are immediately taken to the mill and then pressed within a few hours.<\/span><\/p>\n

Perseus is a typical oil of Apulia. La Coratina is a variety of typical olive trees found in particular in the area north of Bari. It is known throughout the world for its very high concentration of polyphenols, powerful natural antioxidants with positive effects on human health. Ogliarola Barese is a variety of olive trees that is widespread in the central area of the province of Bari and is mainly harvested by hand.
